Distance Learning
Today I experimented with the Tandberg system and found it to be pretty cool. Emily, Bill and I talked using the system about some of the features it has and some ideas for future use and I got to play around with the camera and remote to see what all I could do. I would like to do this a few more times to get a better feel of what all it can do. I would like to get classes together and see what it can do. I researched some of the ways other school districts are using it and it seems it is more for field trips, guest speakers and PD's. We are going to experiment with it by having two sixth grade classes compete while they are reviewing for their upcoming Benchmarks. Looking forward to working more with this new technology.

We're looking forward to it as well. After seeing the technology at the governor's school, I'm compelled to do some more experimenting, designing and planning before we go class to class...it has such amazing potential and I was excited to see your wheels turning (not literally) with this once we got it set up.
